Building on scripture Union’s commitment to continuously prioritize efforts to evangelize and disciple children and youth, we will continue to reach out in mission. in the last 12 years. The SU Annual mission has been held in the southern, south-western, Eastern, North-Western, Mid-Western, Northern, Busoga, Eastern(Teso) regions, and the most recent one being in Central Region 2023. .
In 2024, we are Responding to the need to Evangelize and disciple with renewed Urgency in the districts of Kalungu, Bukomansimbi, Sembabule, Masaka, Lwengo, Lyantonde, Kyotera and Rakai
A 2 weeks mission has been set in June under our 2024 theme; “….. consider your ways!” Haggai 1:7. We plan to reach at least 200,000 children, youth and adults in at least 500 schools and 20 local churches in the region. During this time, the good news will be shared with thousand of children, young people, and school staff, allowing them to trust Jesus christ as their lord and savior. the mission is a boost to our ongoing effort to revive SU work in the region. We will use the time to also sensitize these school-based youngsters on the dangers of early sex so that they make a positive choice to stay in school and keep themselves sexually pure till marriage
Scripture union is raising a team of prayer partner to continuously pray for the region and the mission. The mission visits will be done by 45missioners, who will visits school churches from 16th-29th June 2024.
