This is one of our core ministries. It is all about announcing God’s good news. Every year, we reach over 150,000 children, youth and adults with the gospel. We do this guided by the following principles;

1. We explore with children & young people the richness of the Christian faith
2. We make every effort to communicate the words of the Gospel in ways appropriate to the context (Contemporary languages)
3. We carefully and clearly teach God’s word so that Children and young people come to a personal faith in our Lord Jesus Christ and understand more about God.
4. We teach Christian basics, so that no “unlearning” is needed
5. We encourage and challenge children and young people to respond to the good news of Jesus Christ.

 
Matthew 28:18-20 : ^“18 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. ¹⁹ Go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, ²⁰ teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.
Matthew 24:14 : ^“14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.”
Mark 16.15 : “¹⁵ And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.”

SUU led evangelistic activities are mostly done in schools, with children, young people and school staff. The following are some of these school based activities;

• Missions

• Assemblies
• Films
• Rallies
• Personal witnessing
• Distribution of tracts and booklets with evangelistic messages
• Outreaches by children and youth.
