Volunteer with Us

We have a number of volunteers working with us in the various SU offices all over the country..

For more information about working with us as a volunteer, please access the information below;

Note writers: – Involved in writing and editing Bible reading materials
Patrons: – Christian teachers in schools who oversee Scripture Union Bible clubs in their schools.
Committees: – Teams of people in different parts of the country who oversee Scripture Union work, this includes the national committee, regional committees and area committees.
Resource mobilizers
Praying people
Schools Volunteers: – individuals who visit schools to support and monitor them and conduct missions. These usually either opt to volunteer in the primary schools department or the secondary school department.
Camp Volunteers: – Short term volunteers who are trained by Scripture Union to lead children and youth camps.

Over the years, the following are some of the major tasks for full-time volunteers;

Plan and execute School support visits.
Organize and participate in regular corporate prayer meetings.
Develop and submit Reports and Accountabilities.
Manage and maintain a tidy office environment.
Plan, organize and run camps.
Organize for trainings and train Children and Youth workers.
Develop Materials e.g. Bible study outlines.
Promote Bible reading through the promotion and sales of SU bible reading guides.
Raise resources for the Ministry.
